Higher Education Scholarships
Eligibility
Native students of 1/4 native blood, (if less, student must be enrolled into a tribe) who are members or descendants of tribal members of the McGrath Native Village that demonstrate financial need as per application guidelines.
Students must maintain at 2.0 GPA while earning no less than 12 credit hours per term.
Students who are funded for an excess of two years will have their transcripts reviewed to evaluate progression and completion towards their educational goals.
Application Deadlines
Fall Semester: July 31
Spring Semester: December 15

Vocational Education Scholarships
Up to $1000 per year. For:
- GED
- Driver Educational Classes
- HAZWOPE
- First-Aid
- or any other class that would help the tribal member with getting employment.
Tribal members are only allowed one class per year, if failed to attend the desired class they would get a two-year penalty. The Vocal Education Scholarship is not allowed to be used in conjunction with the Education Scholarship.
The Scholarship will be paid directly to the school hosting the class. MNVC will need 30 days or more advance notice and proof of enrollment into the course.
